Artist applications may include your name, artist or business name, email, country, role, optional phone or WhatsApp details, preferred contact language, genre, public profile links, catalog information, release plans, current distributor, selected services, your description of your music and goals, and consent choices. General enquiries include your name, email, enquiry type and message. We also store the submission time and a generated record identifier.
Why we collect it
We use this information to review launch-roster interest, understand service needs, respond to enquiries, plan potential onboarding and improve the services we are developing. If you separately opt in to marketing, we may use your email for CeylonSound launch and artist-service updates. The marketing choice is optional and does not affect application review.
How it is stored and shared
Submissions are stored in Lovable Cloud, which provides the website’s database and server infrastructure. Authorized CeylonSound operators may access submissions for the purposes described above. We do not make applicant records publicly available. We do not sell applicant information. Additional providers should be added to this notice if they are configured later.
Retention
OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED BEFORE PUBLISHING: CeylonSound has not yet confirmed a retention period for unsuccessful applications and inactive enquiries. A defined review and deletion schedule must be added before public launch. Information may need to be kept longer where required to establish or respond to legal matters.
Your choices and requests
You can ask about, correct or request deletion of the information you submitted, subject to any applicable requirements. Until a verified privacy email is published, use the Contact page and choose “Privacy request.” Marketing permission can be withheld when applying and withdrawn through the same contact route.
